ASSOCIATE IN SPECIALIZED BUSINESS DEGREE PROGRAM

At George A. Romero’s Filmmaking Program, we strongly believe that experience is the best teacher. That’s why our students find themselves working hands-on from day one. In their third semester alone students work on at least fifteen projects. We know that learning all aspects of filmmaking gives our grads the flexibility they need to be successful in the industry and we push students to perform a variety of roles on-set and in post. Because of our commitment to filmmaking as a way-of-life, our students enjoy 24/7 access to our facilities – which is especially critical given the demands of the post-production process. They can collaborate with students from our special effects makeup as well as industry professionals to create productions that adhere to the rigorous standards of the film industry. And they get to do all of that utilizing our large stage and professional-grade cameras, gear, and post facilities.

ROBERT TINNELL, Director

Robert Tinnell knows a thing or two about telling stories. A masterful writer, director, and producer, Tinnell’s claim to fame is for his work on feature films, including Kids of the Round Table, Frankenstein and Me, and Believe, as well as upcoming productions of Sacrifice, The Living and the Dead, and The Mothman Chronicles. Outside of the film industry, Tinnell is a well-respected graphic novelist, known for such works as The Black Forest, The Wicked West, Flesh and Blood, and the Eisner Award-Nominated Feast of the Seven Fishes.
